Features

Rapid Internal Heating System - An important feature that you should look for in a sauna is its heating capability. Most saunas, as shown on the left, only heat part of your body and can take nearly an hour just to heat up your sauna. This means you end up with less time actually spent inside the sauna, resulting in less healing and relaxation for you, not to mention increased energy bills, which means more money out of your pocket for less. That’s why we made the Medical Saunas™ with our Rapid Internal Heating System™. We are the first and only sauna to have it. The average sauna takes 90 minutes to 2 hours to pre-heat, but Medical Saunas™ can be fully heated in as little as 40 minutes. It outperforms the competitors and reaches the perfect temperature in a time that no other sauna can compete with. This powerful heating system allows you to be in your sauna immediately when you need it most.

The Detox Routine - While most saunas say they have can remove some toxins from your body, they miss some of the more dangerous ones to your health. Regular use of a Medical Sauna™ can remove bad toxins and impurities from your body. Many of these toxins are found in substances we use or are exposed to every day, such as BPA (found in many household plastic items), toxic heavy metals, phthalates (found in most fast foods), and nicotine. Medical Saunas™ are the industry leaders in removing toxins from your body. By following The Detox Routine™, regular use of a Medical Sauna™ will repeatedly enlarge the pores on your skin and flush out the harmful toxins inside your body, leaving you feeling energized and purified.

Hot/Cold Cleansing System - Most heating systems in other saunas are too slow to heat up, making the benefits of warm up and cool down rounds that are recommended by so many sauna users and experts nearly impossible to achieve. Hot/Cold therapy has many health benefits, such as relaxing muscles and improving flexibility. The Medical Sauna™ has been designed to capitalize on this therapy method with our extremely powerful and efficient heating technology. The Rapid Internal Heating System™ is the most effective system that can achieve hot/cold therapy and allow you to reap the benefits and start improving your health.

Insulated Airflow System - For too long, sauna users have experienced unwanted temperature fluctuations in poorly designed saunas, resulting in less healing and higher energy bills. The insulation of a sauna is just as important as the heating system because it allows the temperature inside to remain constant. We have developed a design that works with our heating system, and uses the temperature inside the sauna to keep your sauna at a constant temperature. This means you can keep your sauna at the right temperature with less effort, and receive the maximum health benefits from our Medical Sauna™.

3D Heat Therapy - Medical Sauna™ is the first and only sauna on the market to offer 3D Heat Therapy™. Heat therapy has many benefits for your body including improving sore muscles, increasing range of motion, decreasing muscle spasms, and reducing pain. The 3D Heat Therapy™ works by penetrating deep into the body's tissue and cells as temperature rises, which leads to therapeutic benefits all over your body. This improved version of heat therapy, found only in a Medical Sauna™, will rejuvenate your body from the inside out.

Safe Cool Down System - No other sauna on the market has engineered an airflow system that creates a safer and efficient cool down stage after using your sauna. An important health practice to follow when using a sauna is allowing your body to cool down gradually after a session. Medical Sauna™ has aided your cool down stage, as its design allows hot air to escape slowly from the sauna. This cools down your body at the recommended pace, and prevents possible health complications from changing temperatures too quickly. As a very vital process for a sauna owner, we felt it was necessary to design a cool down system in our saunas that will keep you safe.

Skin Rejuvenation/Cleansing System - Only Medical Sauna’s™ heating technology can cover every square inch of your body and leave your skin feeling soft, fresh, and new. This is because of the hemlock wood used in the Medical Sauna Series™ and our powerful heating system. These two features remove dead skin cells from your body, allowing your pores to open wider, which results in increased blood circulation near the surface of your body, healing your skin. After just one session in a Medical Saunas™ your skin will feel younger and refreshed. Medical Saunas™ are more than just relaxation tools because they were designed to help heal your body. Because of all the doctors that came together to help design and engineer the Medical Sauna™ and their 100+ years of combined experience, there are lots of medical benefits you can receive by using it daily.

The Medical 3 sauna runs on 120V/15amp standard home outlet

What kind of base should I put a Medical 3 Indoor Infrared Sauna on?

The base should be strong enough to support the weight of the sauna, resistant to heat and moisture.

Here are a few options for what you can place an indoor sauna on:

    • Tile: Ceramic or porcelain tiles are a popular choice for sauna bases due to their durability, water resistance, and easy maintenance. Tiles are also available in a variety of designs to match your home's aesthetic.
    • Concrete: Similar to outdoor use, concrete can be used as a base for indoor saunas. It's strong, durable, and resistant to water and heat. You can also finish it with sealant or paint for a more polished look.

    Technical Questions

What makes the Medical 3 Infrared Sauna unique?

The Medical 3 Infrared Sauna offers a unique combination of both traditional steam and infrared heating systems. Infrared heating warms your body directly without heating the air around you, providing a deeply relaxing and beneficial experience. The sauna also operates at a safe, low EMF (Electromagnetic Field) level.

What does 'infrared' mean and how does it benefit me?

Infrared saunas emit infrared light absorbed as radiant heat directly by your skin. This direct warmth provides deep, soothing effects on muscles and joints, promoting relaxation and recovery. Although their temperature peaks at about 145°F, it's the direct, penetrating heat that creates an effective and comfortable sauna experience.

What are EMF levels? Are they safe in this sauna?

EMF stands for 'Electromagnetic Fields', which are produced by all electrical and wireless devices. However, the Medical 3 Infrared Sauna operates at one of the lowest EMF levels in the industry, ensuring a safe environment for you to enjoy your sauna sessions.

What is the difference between Near, FAR and Full Spectrum?

In the world of infrared saunas, "NEAR", "FAR", and "Full Spectrum" refer to different wavelengths of infrared light:

    • Near-Infrared: Use the shortest infrared wavelengths, which are absorbed just below the skin's surface, promoting healing and rejuvenation. NIR is often associated with benefits such as skin renewal, wound healing, and enhanced cell health.
    • Far-Infrared: Use the longest infrared wavelengths, penetrating deep into the body to promote a detoxifying sweat. These types of saunas are renowned for supporting detoxification, weight loss, and cardiovascular health.
    • Full Spectrum: These saunas utilize the entire infrared spectrum — near, mid, and far-infrared wavelengths. As a result, they offer a comprehensive range of benefits from all infrared types, deeply penetrating tissues to aid in detoxification, pain relief, circulation improvement, and potentially weight loss.

When choosing a sauna, consider your personal health goals and consult with a healthcare provider to determine the type of infrared sauna that would be most beneficial for you.

    Usage & Safety

How long does it take for the Medical 3 Infrared to heat up?

The Medical Saunas™ uses a proprietary Rapid Internal Heating System™ and is the the and only sauna to utiilize it. The average sauna can take up to 90 minutes to 2 hours to pre-heat, but Medical Saunas™ can be fully heated in as little as 40 minutes.

How long should a sauna session last?

For beginners, start with shorter sessions of 10-15 minutes. Over time, you can gradually increase this to up to 30-45 minutes, depending on your comfort level.

What should I do after a sauna session?

After your sauna session, cool down gradually and drink plenty of water to rehydrate. Avoid going directly from a hot sauna into a cold shower, as the sudden temperature change can be a shock to your system.

What precautions should I take when using the sauna?

Always listen to your body. If you begin to feel dizzy, overheated, or unwell, leave the sauna immediately. It's also crucial to stay hydrated, so drink plenty of water before, during, and after your sauna session.

Is it safe to use the sauna frequently?

Yes, it is safe to use the sauna frequently. In fact, consistent use can lead to numerous health benefits. However, it's important to listen to your body and not to overdo it. Always stay hydrated, and if you ever feel dizzy or unwell, exit the sauna immediately.

Benefits of the Medical 3 Infrared Sauna

What are the health benefits of using the Medical 3 Infrared Sauna?

The Medical 3 Infrared Sauna is designed to provide a holistic wellness experience. Regular sessions can improve cardiovascular health, assist with weight management, promote healthier skin, reduce stress levels, and aid in better sleep.

Can heat therapy reduce my stress levels?

Regular use can help to elevate mood, reduce stress, and improve overall well-being. The heat helps to release endorphins, the body's natural 'feel good' chemicals, promoting a sense of relaxation and contentment.

Will using a sauna help improve my sleep?

Using a sauna, especially in the afternoon or evening, can help to promote better sleep. The post-cooling effect after a sauna session can help to align with your body’s natural cooling down period before sleep, aiding in falling asleep faster and promoting deeper, more restful sleep.

Can a sauna assist in weight management?

The heat generated by the sauna increases your heart rate, similar to the effect of a cardiovascular workout, helping to burn calories. However, it's important to note that while saunas can support weight loss as part of a balanced lifestyle, they are not a substitute for regular exercise and a healthy diet.

Will regular sauna use improve my skin health?

The heat from the sauna helps to open up the pores and promote sweating, which assists in the removal of toxins and impurities from the skin. Regular sauna use can lead to improvements in the appearance of your skin, including a decrease in signs of aging, and can promote a healthy, radiant complexion.

    Do saunas improve cardiovascular health?

Regular use of sauna can improve cardiovascular health by reducing risk of cardiovascular events and stroke. The heat from the sauna increases your heart rate, similar to light exercise, and can help improve blood circulation. It's important to note, however, that individuals with existing heart conditions should consult with a healthcare provider before using a sauna.
